As part of an official visit to China, the CEO of JSC “Kyrgyz Post,” Marat Cherikchiev, along with his team and colleagues from the postal services of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan, visited the Exhibition and Trade Center in the Kashgar District of the Xinjiang Pilot Free Trade Zone.
During the visit, representatives of the postal services of Central Asia were introduced to two pavilions of the Kyrgyz Republic, which showcase domestic products in the Chinese market. JSC “Kyrgyz Post” acts as the logistics operator for these pavilions, ensuring the efficient transportation and delivery of goods.
It is worth noting that these pavilions were opened in August 2023 during the visit of the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Head of the President’s Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic, Akylbek Japarov, to Kashgar. This event marked an important step in expanding trade relations between Kyrgyzstan and China, as well as strengthening cooperation with neighboring countries of Central Asia.
In addition, during the visit, negotiations were held between the postal services of Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan, where joint projects for promoting export goods from Central Asia to China were discussed, along with the prospects for developing logistics and trade relations between the countries of the region.
