On September 15, 2025, a ceremonial cancellation of a postage stamp dedicated to one of the most prestigious international awards in the field of architecture — the Aga Khan Award — took place in Bishkek.

The event was attended by the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic — Head of the Administration of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Adylbek Kasymaliev and Prince Rahim Aga Khan V.

The main image of the stamp is the building of the Toktogul Satylganov Kyrgyz National Philharmonic Hall — a symbol of the country’s cultural heritage and public space.

The background of the stamp sheet is decorated with images of mountains, forests, and yurts, reflecting the beauty of Kyrgyzstan’s nature and the harmonious combination of traditions with modern architecture.

This issue is an initiative aimed at highlighting the country’s social values and cultural uniqueness through the prism of architecture.
