On September 12, a ceremony was held at the National Historical Museum of the Kyrgyz Republic to cancel a postage stamp dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the formation of the Kara-Kyrgyz Autonomous Region. The event was attended by the Minister of Digital Development of the Kyrgyz Republic, Nuria Kutnaeva, a group led by the CEO of JSC “Kyrgyz Post,” Marat Cherikchiev, and media representatives.

The postage stamp, marking the 100th anniversary of the formation of the Kara-Kyrgyz Autonomous Region, features the likenesses of prominent individuals who made invaluable contributions to the establishment and development of modern Kyrgyz statehood: Ishenaly Arabaev, Aidarbek Imanaly, Abdykadir Orozbekov, Abdykerim Sydykov, and Jusuп Abdrakhmanov. This commemorative stamp serves as a symbol of respect for our past and a reminder of the importance of this historical event.
In his speech, Marat Cherikchiev added, “This stamp will become a symbol of recognition and respect for our history and will take a worthy place in the collections of philatelists and in the hearts of all citizens of Kyrgyzstan.”
