International parcels are accepted in an open form with a check of the contents.
Parcels are valued according to the actual cost of the contents.
FOR THE ATTENTION OF INTERNATIONAL MAIL SENDERS
In accordance with the requirements of the Universal Postal Union Convention and its implementing regulations, the standards for international letters are as follows:
- Minimum size: 90×140 mm
- Maximum size: 120×235 mm
- Maximum thickness: 5 mm
For postcards:
- Minimum size: 90×140 mm
- Maximum size: 105×148 mm
ADDRESSING PROCEDURE:
The address should be written on the smooth side of the envelope, where there is no sealing flap, in a rectangular zone located at the following minimum distances:
- From the top edge of the envelope: 40 mm
- From the right side edge: 15 mm
- From the bottom edge: 15 mm
The sender’s address should be placed in the upper left corner, and the recipient’s address on the right side.
The recipient’s address must be written in Latin letters, with the house and apartment numbers written in Arabic numerals in the following sequence:
- The recipient’s surname, street, house number, apartment number (if necessary) or P.O. box
- City, state, and postal code of the destination country
- The name of the destination country, repeated in Russian
The postal company is not responsible for incorrectly specified addresses.
International written correspondence that does not conform to the established standard for dispatch cannot be sent.
