JSC “Kyrgyz Post” and the World Bank discussed successful projects and the expansion of financial services

Today, a meeting took place at JSC “Kyrgyz Post” with the World Bank team led by Emiko Todaroki, Senior Financial Sector Specialist.

During the meeting, the successful completion of the Payment and Banking Systems Modernization Project was discussed, along with the next steps for expanding the company’s financial services.

The General Director of JSC “Kyrgyz Post,” Marat Cherikchiev, and the team members shared achievements following the company’s transformation into a joint-stock company, highlighting successes in modernizing postal and financial services.

Successful initiatives were discussed, such as the creation of multimodal postal branches in remote areas to improve service accessibility.

Particular attention was given to environmentally sustainable solutions, including a project on electric vehicles and charging stations.

These measures aim to improve transportation logistics and support sustainable development in line with international ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) standards.
