On August 17, the 14th “Kashgar-Central and South Asia” fair took place in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of the People’s Republic of China. A total of 700 companies from 35 countries and regions around the world participated in the exhibition, including a group led by the CEO of JSC “Kyrgyz Post,” Marat Cherikchiev, who took part in the fair for the first time.

During the event, various industry meetings were held, key projects were signed, and a series of activities aimed at promoting trade were organized.

Xinjiang Martina International Logistics Co., Ltd., which has been engaged in foreign trade for nearly 20 years, participated in many domestic exhibitions. This time, the company brought products from four companies from Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan to the Kashgar fair, including drinks, dried fruits, chocolate, and other products, in order to fulfill more orders than last year.

Kashgar is one of China’s pilot free trade zones. The Kashgar fair has been held here since 2005. In the Middle Ages, Kashgar was a gateway to the Silk Road, where trade caravans from all corners of Asia met. The city, with a history of over two thousand years, continues to attract manufacturers and traders from all over the continent.
