Bishkek, December 17, 2024 – As part of strengthening bilateral cooperation, a meeting was held between the CEOs of Kyrgyz Post (Post.kg) Marat Cherikchiev and Turkish Post (PTT) Hakan Gulten.
The main topic of the negotiations was the development of relations between the two postal operators, with a special focus on supporting e-commerce and improving logistics solutions.
During the meeting, the sides discussed:
• Optimization of logistics routes to speed up parcel delivery between Kyrgyzstan and Turkey.
• Support for entrepreneurs in the e-commerce sector, including creating convenient and affordable services for exporting goods.
• Digitalization of postal services aimed at simplifying international trade processes.
• Introduction of new technologies to improve service quality and transparency in logistics operations.
Marat Cherikchiev, the CEO of Kyrgyz Post, emphasized that the development of e-commerce is one of the key areas where cooperation with Turkish Post opens significant prospects. In turn, Hakan Gulten (PTT) expressed his readiness to share the experience and technologies that have contributed to Turkey’s success in the postal and logistics sector.
“This meeting is an important step in strengthening our business relations. Our joint efforts will help create favorable conditions for the development of international trade and economic cooperation between our countries,” said the CEO of Turkish Post.
The agreements reached will form the basis for developing new joint projects that will support small and medium-sized businesses and open new opportunities for entrepreneurs in Kyrgyzstan and Turkey.
