From July 28 to 31, 2025, a delegation from OJSC «Kyrgyz Post» together with representatives of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic and the State Customs Service of the Kyrgyz Republic, undertook a working visit to Hangzhou, People’s Republic of China. The purpose of the visit was to exchange experience and explore advanced solutions in the fields of e-commerce and logistics.
As part of the program, the delegation became acquainted with the operations of modern logistics facilities, including customs and bonded warehouses, automated sorting technologies, digital shipment tracking, and integration with e-commerce platforms.
Particular attention was given to a meeting with a branch of Alibaba’s 1688 platform. Discussions focused on prospects for B2B cooperation and the potential role of OJSC «Kyrgyz Post» in supporting export-import operations.
The visit marked an important step toward the digital transformation of postal services and the expansion of international partnerships. The knowledge gained and the relationships established will contribute to improving service quality and advancing e-commerce in the Kyrgyz Republic.
