The CEO of OJSC “Kyrgyz Post,” Marat Cherikchiev, along with the Chairman of the Board of OJSC “Eldik Bank,” Ulanbek Nogaev, made a working trip to the Republic of Turkey as part of a protocol assignment from the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers – Head of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic, Akylbek Japarov.
During this trip, on June 13, 2024, an agreement was signed between the subsidiary of Turkey Post, PtteM, OJSC “Kyrgyz Post,” and “Eldik Bank.”
This agreement outlines cooperation in the field of cross-border e-commerce, enabling Turkish products to be sold on the Kyrgyz market, as well as Kyrgyz products to be sold on the Turkish market.
Comprehensive e-commerce and electronic export logistics services will be provided in Turkey, Kyrgyzstan, and the region, including procurement, packaging, processing, order fulfillment, customs clearance, distribution, and returns. Additionally, payment services and loyalty programs for e-commerce will be available in the same regions. A 24/7 multilingual customer support service will also be accessible in Turkey, Kyrgyzstan, and the region.
Marat Cherikchiev and Ulanbek Nogaev emphasized that the main goal of the visit was to study the digital ecosystem of the e-commerce market in the Republic of Turkey, focusing on identifying successful models and technologies that could be adapted to the Kyrgyz market in cooperation with Turkey Post and PtteM.
OJSC “Kyrgyz Post” also expressed gratitude to the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Turkey for their assistance.
