Bishkek, October 16, 2025.
JSC “Kyrgyz Post” together with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) held a ceremonial cancellation of a new series of postage stamps dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the FAO and World Food Day.

The series consists of three stamps depicting children in traditional Kyrgyz clothing, symbolizing the core values of the FAO — food security, sustainable agriculture, and respect for cultural heritage.

At the initiative of the FAO, the characters featured on the stamps were given names: Telegei (“vast expanse”), Bereke (“abundance”), and Bakyt (“happiness”).

The event took place in a festive atmosphere with the participation of representatives from government and international organizations, highlighting the importance of cooperation in ensuring food security and sustainable development.
