As part of his visit to the Federal Republic of Germany, the CEO of OJSC “Kyrgyz Post” Marat Cherikchiev signed an important trilateral agreement, which marks a significant step towards the creation of a national marketplace in the Kyrgyz Republic. The signing took place on December 14, 2024, in accordance with the instructions of the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Head of the Administration of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, A. U. Zhaparov.

The agreement was signed by the CEO of the German company PostMost CmbH, Vitaliy Venklohas, the Chairman of the Board of OJSC “Eldik Bank” Ulanbek Nogaev, and the CEO of OJSC “Kyrgyz Post” Marat Cherikchiev. This project is aimed at stimulating the development of digital technologies, e-commerce, and financial services in Kyrgyzstan. The creation of the marketplace will provide citizens and businesses with access to modern and convenient online shopping and financial services.

The signing ceremony took place in Berlin, with the event opening in the presence of the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Federal Republic of Germany, Omurbek Tekebayev. In his speech, the ambassador emphasized the importance of the agreement for strengthening bilateral relations between Kyrgyzstan and Germany and highlighted the significance of the project for the country’s digital transformation.

The project is aimed at creating an integrated platform that will combine financial, trade, and logistics services, improving the accessibility of goods and services for the population of Kyrgyzstan. As a result of the implementation of this marketplace, it is expected that the quality of life of citizens will improve and new opportunities for business will be created.
