OJSC “Kyrgyz Post” has completed the implementation of a large-scale project aimed at improving the quality of mail delivery, carried out with the support of the Quality of Service Fund of the Universal Postal Union (UPU). To assess the results achieved, a representative of the UPU International Bureau visited Kyrgyzstan.
During the visit, the expert personally reviewed the operation of the new vehicles purchased under the project and inspected their performance on key routes. An inspection was also conducted at the International Postal Exchange and Logistics Center (IMPLC) in Bishkek, including the newly established postal logistics center.
As part of the project, 18 LADA Largus vehicles were purchased:
- 14 — for the IMPLC in Bishkek
- 4 — for the Osh post office
The implementation of this project became an important step in strengthening the country’s postal infrastructure, improving reliability, speed, and quality of service for citizens and businesses across the republic.
