As part of the “Two Countries, Two Zones” initiative, established between OJSC “Kyrgyz Post,” the SEZ “Naryn,” and the SEZ “Kashgar,” a car assembly plant will open in the Naryn region of Kyrgyzstan. To start the work on opening the plant, a trilateral Memorandum was signed between the General Director of Kashgar Technology Company “Jiabo,” Huang Yunxi, the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Naryn region, Altynbek Ergeshov, and the General Director of OJSC “Kyrgyz Post,” Marat Cherikchiev.
Negotiations regarding the opening of the automotive manufacturing plant continued on April 24 at the headquarters of OJSC “Kyrgyz Post,” and on April 25 at the Plenipotentiary Representative Office of the Naryn region. As a result, Chinese investors, led by the General Director of Kashgar Technology Company “Jiabo,” Huang Yunxi, are considering land plots for the construction of the plant. Based on the results, the construction of the plant will begin. Once the construction is completed, various types of vehicles (gasoline, electric, and gas-powered) will be produced. From 100 to 1000 jobs will be created for local residents.
