Bishkek, October 16, 2025.JSC “Kyrgyz Post” together with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) held a ceremonial cancellation of a new series of postage stamps dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the FAO and World Food Day. The series consists of three stamps depicting children in traditional Kyrgyz clothing, symbolizing the core values of the FAO — food security, sustainable agriculture, and respect for cultural heritage. At the initiative of the FAO, the characters featured on the stamps were given names: Telegei (“vast expanse”), Bereke (“abundance”), and Bakyt (“happiness”). The event took place in a festive atmosphere with the participation of representatives from government and international organizations, highlighting the importance of cooperation in ensuring food security and sustainable development.

On October 9, 2025, a ceremonial event dedicated to World Post Day was held at the main office of "Kyrgyz Post" JSC. During the event, Marat Cherikchiyev, General Director of "Kyrgyz Post" JSC, presented Certificates of Honor to employees from various divisions who have made significant contributions to the development of the postal sector and highlighted the importance of their work for the overall progress of the company. To mark World Post Day, three new post offices were officially opened in the Kadamjay district of Batken region by “Kyrgyz Post” JSC in cooperation with local authorities. The discussions focused on the development of e-commerce, cross-border trade, and the integration of national marketplaces. The parties agreed to establish a joint working group, prepare official proposals, and organize a visit of the "Vietnam Post" delegation to Kyrgyzstan for experience exchange.
